There's parts of me that have nothing to do with other parts of me. When I get into a Gordon Lightfoot mood I turn off the world and turn back into that kid who was actually more mature than I am now and was broke but not in spirit as I am now but I would take off down the road heading away from home. Parents arguing and me old enough to leave so I left. Something about the emptiness that is actually liberating. This could be boring and sad but it shouldn't be. It really more about compartmentalising and Zen.
